Sirvan Manhoubi, oud

Sirvan Manhoubi started his musical journey at thirteen, and eventually chose the oud as his main instrument. He went on to be awarded Best Soloist in 3 Iranian music festivals, performed on numerous CDs and films, and then formed the Bamdad Ensemble, focusing on Kurdish and Iranian Classical music. Sirvan has a MA in Archaeology from Tehran University. He migrated to USA in 2015 and has been active ever since in teaching, composing and performing.
