"International Artists' Mosaic Concert" --Notes for Nourishment January 22, 2017
Isabelle Brown-Lyden has performed in benefit concerts throughout the Bay Area since she was five years old. She has made solo appearances at both Carnegie Hall and at Merkin Concert Hall in New York City. She has performed as an honors soloist at the Colorado Suzuki Institute, the Stanford Suzuki Institute and at the National Cello Institute in Los Angeles. Last year she placed second in the Alexander and Buono International Strings Competition in New York City. Now 14 years old, Isabelle studies weekly with cello teacher Andy Luchansky, and daily with her cello-playing mom, Marcie Brown. Isabelle loves designing and sewing her own clothes. She regularly ice skates and plays tennis.
