The event in the parking lot was at Maxim's and was an autocross sponsored by the Beaumont Sports Car Club running Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) rules. Therefore we were running in C Modified. When the trophies came out, the announcement that I won my class was "And here to prove horsepower is truly king, we present 1st place in C Modified to Bonner Denton in the Bocar!" I am not sure if it came through to you, but I have since build 3 more Bocars to specifications I think the original builder, Bob Carnes, would have used if he had built them in the 80s and 90s. One is a street car, one I raced a Bonneville which set several records, and one raced by Keith Copeland who flipped his running 240mph.
